Field Technologies Selects Eddie Rodriguez as its legal consul!

San Diego , CA — April 8, 2003 — Field Technologies, a leading provider of GPS vehicle and equipment tracking systems has selected Eddie Rodriguez of Fish & Richardson as its legal consul.

Mr. Rodriguez has extensive experience in representing a range of companies in the high-tech arena. He was chosen to assist Field Technologies in modifying our legal structure, contract negotiations and patent efforts. He is Principal of Fish & Richarson P.C. and a member of the Corporate and Securities Group with a practice focusing on a full range of corporate and securities matters, including corporate formation, mergers and acquisitions, venture financing, technology licensing, and general business counseling for both public and private companies. He was previously a partner at Brobeck, Phleger & Harrison LLP. Mr. Rodriguez has represented clients in over 200 mergers and acquisition transactions, including: a $500 million acquisition of a private software company by a Fortune 100 company; $193 million acquisition of a private software company by publicly traded internet and software development company; $157 million leverage buyout of an private electronics company by a private holding company; $90 million acquisition of a private software company by a publicly traded software company; $73 million merger of two publicly traded telecommunications companies; and over $35 million of roll-up acquisitions for publicly traded software company.

Mr. Rodriguez holds a B.A. from UCLA and J.D. from Stanford Law School. He was also
selected by San Diego Metropolitan as one of "40 of the brightest young professionals, executives, entrepreneurs and civic leaders in San Diego County " under the age of 40 in 2003.
