This week the US Fleet Tracking Basketball Invitational was hosted by Kevin Durant. The charity game was a wish come true for thousands of basketball fans who are eagerly awaiting the start of this year’s NBA season. The game benefited the Single Parents Support Network of Oklahoma.
The NBA lockout has resulted in the first several weeks of regular season games to be canceled. Another round of games are also expected to be canceled soon. Many fans are concerned that the NBA could lose the entire season.
The US Fleet Tracking Game was a highly anticipated event for basketball fans in need of their game day fix. The two teams were packed with all-stars – the White Team Vs. The Blue Team. Here are the rosters of each team for the US Fleet Tracking Invitational:
Blue Team: Carmelo Anthony; Chris Paul; James Harden; Rudy Gay; Amar’e Stoudemire; Damien Wilkins; Michael Beasley; Jonny Flynn.
White Team: Kevin Durant; Russell Westbrook; LeBron James; Lamarcus Aldridge; Jeff Green; Jamal Crawford; Monta Ellis.
The US Fleet Tracking game was close and ended in overtime. The end result was Durant’s White Team posting a 176-171 victory over the Blue Team before a near-sellout crowd of 13,000 inside the Cox Convention Center in Oklahoma City.
