The first electric vehicle from Mercedes-Benz is now available in the United States and will be the first market to have public access to new electric vehicle.

According to the US Department of Energy, the B-Class can go up to 87 miles on a single charge, similar to the Nissan Leaf and the plug-in’s direct competition, the BMW i3. The B-Class offers 177 horsepower and starts at $41,150.

Currently, the new B-Class is only available in 10 coastal states including California, Oregon, New York, Maine, and New Jersey, but no word yet on when other states might see the plug-in.
