KIA Hosts Handover Ceremony for 2014 FIFA World Cup Fleet

Kia Motors, the automobile maker supplying a fleet of vehicles for the 2o14 World Cup, hosted a handover ceremony at Arena de Sao Paulo in Sao Paulo, Brazil. The official fleet will ensure safe and efficient transportation for teams, officials, and other VIP visitors from around the world.

“This year’s World Cup marks Kia’s consecutive participation as a sponsor of the world’s most popular global football competition,” said Vice President of the Overseas Marketing Group for Kia Motors Corporation, Soon-Nam Lee. “We are truly delighted to continue our active involvement in the tournament, as we believe football marketing is an integral part of our vision to elevate Kia’s global brand awareness to the next level and to ultimately become a formidable player on the global automotive stage.”

As the official automotive partner, Kia is supplying 410 vehicles from its line for the World Cup and supplied 93 vehicles for pre-World Cup preparations. Kia’s road-side assistance team will also be available 24/7 during the event.
