FIFA uses Hyundai Fleet at World Cup

The South Korean brand delivered a fleet of more than 1,000 SUV’s, vans, and sedans to Brazil for use during the 2014 World Cup in Brazil.

Prior to the tournament start last week, Hyundai hosted a handover ceremony of Arena de Sao Paolo. “A flawless transport operation is critical to the success of the FIFA World Cup,” said Jerome Valcke, FIFA’s Secretary General.

In addition to the fleet, Hyundai decorated each national team bus with winning slogans from the “Be there with Hyundai” competition as well as the team’s flags and national colors.

Hyundai trained and dispatched more than 1,000 drivers among the World Cup stadiums to provide onsite, specialized service for its fleet.
