Company’s GPS System Leads Police to Thieves

Dangerous and scary criminal is handcuffed by a policeman

GPS helped a company catch employees who stole 71 bags of insulation worth $15,000 in retail.

USI Insulation gave permission to an employee to pick up another worker, however they noticed something wasn’t right once the employees returned to their Mesa location.

The vehicle contained 79 bags of insulation and returned with only 8 bags.

USI Insulation used their GPS tracking software and found the company vehicle made a suspicious stop in Phoenix. This helped the company notify law enforcement and obtain a warrant for the Phoenix location.

Later, cops found all 71 bags at the same spot where the thieves had stopped. According to the GPS there were 4 additional times within the past month that the workers made stops there.
