Cellphone GPS Tracking Thwarts RadioShack Roberts

A cellphone GPS tracking system is to thank for the capture of two robbers and their accomplice who held up a RadioShack in Illinois.

Two robbers entered the store and demanded the young woman working behind the counter fill a bag with electronics. They made off with more than $15,000 worth of merchandise, including a cellphone with its GPS tracking enabled.

Police were able to recover some of the merchandise, although the robbers tossed many items out of the window while fleeing the police. Both robbers are being held on $300,000 bail.
