Field Technologies Adds Two Industry Veterans To Its Advisory Board

July 24, 2008 – Field Technologies has recently added David Brandos and Alan Howe to its advisory board.  Both men have experience as executives in very successful communications companies such as QUALCOMM, McCaw Cellular, Covad Communications, and Sprint.  They will help shape the company’s growth strategies.  Their extensive experience in the GPS fleet tracking industry is a significant asset for Field Technologies.

About David Brandos:
Mr. Brandos has experience in growing niche GPS tracking companies to become the dominate providers of such solutions in their respective targeted industries.  Most recently, Mr. Brandos was the President of Boatracs, a niche provider of GPS tracking solutions for marine vessels.  He successfully grew the company’s revenues and profitability until it was acquired by AirIQ.  Prior to Boatracs, he was Vice President of Business Development of the OmniTRACS division at QUALCOMM.  OmniTRACS targeted the commercial trucking industry and was so successful that it helped finance the development of most of the company’s early products.  Prior to QUALCOMM, Mr. Brandos was the Director of CDPD Development at McCaw Cellular.  He played a key role in the development and launch of the Cellular Digital Packet Data (CDPD) network.  This network was the first cellular-data communications network in the United States a nd was used by many of the first GPS tracking products.  Mr. Brandos will help shape Field Technologies’ marketing and growth strategies.

About Alan Howe:
Mr. Howe has extensive experience in managing the finances of communications companies.  Currently, he is the Vice President of Strategic Development at Covad Communications, a $400 Million provider of broadband services.  Previously he was the Chief Financial Officer at Teletrac, one of the first GPS fleet tracking companies.  Prior to Teletrac, Mr. Howe was the Director of Corporate Development at Sprint.  Mr. Howe has successfully raised financing to grow and acquire many Telematics companies. Mr. Howe will help guide Field Technologies in its pursuit of its financing objectives.
