With over 150 years of combined wireless industry experience, the leadership team of FieldLogix has a thorough understanding of the telematics industry. We have successfully built a company that is unrivaled in terms of the experience that it provides to all stakeholders.  It is guided by the wisdom of several wireless veterans who have implemented successful strategies within their respective organizations. These strategies have led to dominant positions within their industries.

Yukon Palmer

Yukon is the founder and CEO/Chief Service Promoter for FieldLogix. He founded the company in 2002 after completing his MBA at San Diego State University. Prior to founding FieldLogix, he was the top producing sales representative for Teletrac. He has been honored to have been selected as one of San Diego’s top 20 Young Influentials, 40 under 40, and Metro Movers. In addition, he has been profiled several times in the San Diego Business Journal. Yukon served as a speaker and panelist for industry events such as MobileCon, M2M Evolution, and the Association of Equipment Management Professionals (AEMP). He volunteers as a mentor for the Leonard Lavin Entrepreneur program at San Diego State University as well as a Co-Chair for the CommNexus Mobile Development SIG. He has also served as the Chairman for the Founder’s Roundtable at CONNECT and serves as a judge for the SDSU Lean Startup Competition and the CONNECT MIP Awards. Yukon has a B.S. in Business Administration and a MBA from San Diego State University.


Armand Gatdula

Armand serves as our Director of Services. He has been with FieldLogix since 2006, starting as a field service technician. He currently manages service deployments, user experience, and customer support. He previously spent several years in management and customer service roles at companies such as Circuit City, Geico, and Crown Lift. He is the resident technology expert for our hardware configurations, testing, and diagnostics. Armand has been nominated as one of San Diego’s Top Tech Execs for 2014 and has a BS in Management from National University.


Mark Thompson

Mark is our Director of Mobile Services. He has been with FieldLogix since 2013 and was previously a co-founder for Explorence, a mobile gaming company. He has in-depth knowledge of mobile application development on both the iOS and Android platforms. Previously, Mark served in development roles at Cubic and QUALCOMM. He has a B.S. Degree and has completed graduate studies in Computer Sciences at San Diego State University.


Steve Morley

Steve is a strategic advisor for FieldLogix and has previously served as the Vice President of Technology for QUALCOMM Incorporated. He was instrumental in the development of QUALCOMM’s strategic direction in a number of new wireless technologies including digital cellular communications, next generation wireless local area networking, ultra-wideband radio technologies, and location-based services. He played a key role in QUALCOMM’s growth from 10 employees to 10,000 employees and holds 25 patents related to wireless communications.  More recently, Steve has been an executive adviser to a number of high technology companies in the development of their strategic business and product development programs. He holds a MSEE from Stanford University.


Prashant Kantak

Prashant is the strategic and financial advisor for FieldLogix and is an early-stage venture advisor and investor. He started and led QUALCOMM’s strategic venture capital fund, QUALCOMM Ventures, worldwide and built operations in North America, Europe and Asia including Korea, Japan, and China starting in 1999. He was also responsible for various corporate development efforts including technology and business strategy, strategic alliances, partnerships and mergers and acquisitions. Prashant has over 20 years of business and technical experience in the field of telecommunications. He was with QUALCOMM since early 1990 and held various technical and business management positions within the company. He participated in the early definition and development of CDMA standards and systems and thereafter developed key ASICs and DSP architectures on the infrastructure and mobile side that form the core platform for QUALCOMM’s commercial ASICs. Prashant holds both BS and MS Degrees in Electrical Engineering and a MBA from Cornell University.


Steven Settelmayer

Steve is the sales & marketing advisor to FieldLogix and is the VP of Sales and Marketing at Neff Rental. Prior to that he spent twelve years as VP of Sales and Marketing at Teletrac, a pioneer in vehicle location systems, where he was instrumental in implementing a successful sales and marketing automation program which was a key to Teletrac’s market leader position. Before that he was in sales management in the office equipment industry. He has extensive knowledge and experience in sales management as well as the Saleforce CRM platform.  Steve has a Bachelors of Science in Industrial Marketing from San Francisco State University.


Phil Ohme

Phil is the user experience advisor to FieldLogix and is the Design Strategist for Intuit. Phil conceived, designed, and launched the first mobile app for accountants. His focus is on user experience (UX) and he methodically planned the entire mobile user experience for a very comprehensive product that was previously designed for a desktop environment. He has extensive knowledge and experience with both iOS and Android platforms. Previously, Phil was the User Experience Lead for Independia – a remote health care provider and Locomobi – a location-based services mobile advertising platform. He was also a Product Design Engineer for Wingcast – a Ford / Qualcomm telematics venture. Phil has authored over 10 patents for Intuit and was won 3 Scott Cook (Intuit founder) innovation awards and is an Eagle Scout. He received a Bachelors of Sciences in Industrial Engineering/Ergonomics from the Rochester Institute of Technology and a Masters of Sciences in Industrial Engineering from the University of Iowa.
