What they do

Fresh and Fit Meals is a firm believer in making healthy meals easier and more affordable. By shopping, cooking, and preparing your meals they simplify the process of eating healthy. They have 10 delivery drivers who deliver to a solid fan base of food lovers in San Diego and they are continuing to expand.

Before Goose, it took their shipment manager 8-16 hours each week to create their delivery routes.  Routing was based on the manager’s knowledge of the area and when he was out of the office they scrambled to try and organize routes.  Delivery times were another concern because their clients didn’t want their food to sit on the doorstep longer than necessary.  The company’s drivers were forced to individually text message their client 15 minutes prior to arrival, which didn’t always happen.

How we help them

Based in Toronto, Canada, Essential Meal Delivery is unique to the industry by providing clients with the option to pay a one time fee to individually craft their meals. They have a high demand of delivery orders to offices, gyms, and homes.

With their growing demand of meal delivery orders, Essential Meal Delivery found their current software to be limiting.  The system allowed them to create routes, but they had to manually text them to their drivers. Since 2013, The Meal Prep Company has proudly served the San Diego Area. They believe in delivering the best meals and have an open door policy for their customers to stop by their facility while they are preparing their meals.  The Meal Prep Co. promotes health and wellness by serving up meals to help customers achieve their specific health goals.

Prior to Goose, the company used Google Maps to define their delivery areas and then relied on their drivers to create their own routes for their deliveries.  In addition to the fact the routes weren’t efficient, it took time away from drivers’ day which could be better utilized to complete more stops.

Incorporating Goose has allowed The Meal Prep Company to effectively utilize the time of both their dispatch and delivery teams. What they do

Plate Therapy hand-crafts meals for people with a busy-bee lifestyle, so healthy eating is no longer a challenge.  They currently have two drivers and are still growing.  Plate Therapy recently moved into a larger kitchen and is cooking up BIG things in the Los Angeles area.

Previously Danielle would spend hours mapping out her customers’ deliveries and creating routes by hand.

Danielle would utilize Google maps to determine how long the routes would take & “guesstimate” ETA’s for her clients.  She would then go through and text them all individually the next day as their meals were on the way.  This presented a major distraction for her when her time was better used focusing on running her business.

The company has been a FieldLogix customer for years, taking advantage of the company’s flagship fleet tracking and management system. How we help them

Bak-Re-Pair started by using FieldLogix’s fleet management system and then decided to add Goose to better manage their operations.
