FieldLogix was born as a business plan created as an MBA project at San Diego State University. The graduate student team was led by two employees of the earliest Telematics companies: Teletrac and Denso Wireless.
In 2002, the company’s founder decided to start the business while the other team members pursued other interests. To gain quick market traction, FieldLogix started as a reseller of various fleet management products. The role as a reseller provided us with the hard-earned experience necessary to thrive in this industry. We were able to learn what other providers did well and where they were weak.
The FieldLogix fleet GPS monitoring system was created in 2006 as our first in-house built GPS fleet tracking product. Our focus with FieldLogix was to build an extremely user-friendly GPS solution that offered a rich set of expandable features. Our sales increased dramatically soon after its release.
Since launching FieldLogix, the first Green fleet GPS tracking system, we have been profiled in numerous publications and ranked among the fastest 100 growing companies in San Diego. We believe that our dedication to our customers’ experience is the reason for our success.
We are now embarking on a new chapter in our story by creating tools to help companies reduce fuel consumption and vehicle emissions. Our customers have a desire to do much more than track their vehicles and we are ready to deliver! FieldLogix is the market leader in Green fleet tracking solutions.
