About Field Technologies
Field Technologies was borne as a business plan created as a MBA project at San Diego State University. The student team was led by two employees of the earliest Telematics companies: Teletrac and Denso Wireless.
In 2002, the company's founder decided to start the business while the other team members pursued other interests. To gain quick market traction, Field Technologies started as a reseller of various fleet management products. This role as a reseller provided us with the hard earned experience necessary to thrive in this industry. We were able to learn what other providers did well and where they were weak. We used this experience in our development of FieldLogix.
FieldLogix was created in 2006 as our first in-house built GPS fleet tracking product. Our focus with FieldLogix was to build an extremely user-friendly solution that offered a rich set of expandable features. Our sales increased dramatically soon after its release.
We are now embarking on a new chapter in our story by creating automatic wireless workflow processes. Our customers have a desire to do much more than track their vehicles and we are ready to deliver!
